 Our History: When we started 25 years ago

The Oklahoma Classic Bronco Round-Up was a once a year event for owners of 1966-77 Broncos.  This Round-Up has grown from an afternoon in the park for 20 trucks, to a Wednesday through Saturday event - packed with food, fun and four-wheeling.  ‘OCBR’ is traditionally held mid to late September; always before the start of deer season!  OCBR is 25 years young and still ridin’.  With the “New Foaling” of the 6 Generation of the Bronco, we now welcome ALL!!!

You ask, Why in Arkansas?

                Why is OCBR held in Arkansas?  We’ve been asked this question a few thousand times.  The Hot Springs Off Road Park in Hot Springs Arkansas offers something for everyone and every truck – from mild to wild!  The park has been under new ownership for approximately 2 years and are working hand in hand with us to help this event run as smoothly as in past years.  Melissa, Andy, Marcie and Gabe have made many changes, in check-in procedures, as well as changes to the layout of the park, parking area etc.  We appreciate their hard work and their support of OCBR and many other events who love to ‘play’ at  Hot Springs Off Road Park!

                In addition, the city of Hot Springs offers numerous hotel/motel accommodations for those who don’t wish to camp, and Hot Springs has a vast history of – mineral baths, great food, shopping and other attractions for those who need a ‘break’ from the trails.  Everyone who attends OCBR goes home feeling that they have extended new family! OCBR ‘family’ – BRONCO Family!

2023 EVENT INFO

CHECK FOR ANY CHANGES WITH OCBR REGISTRATION; AND PARK CHECK IN! 

BE SURE TO READ THE  “INSTRUCTION  PAGE” LOCATED WITH THE REGISTRATION DOWNLOADS.

We will open Check-In/Registration at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20th.   As always there will be surprises in the registration goodie bags.  Pre-registration is not required but it certainly helps us with the beginning counts for meals and shirts.  Pre-Registration saves you some $$$ - as well as easier check-in with the park. 

Guided trail runs begin Thursday morning and continue through Saturday. 

Thursday night ‘TacoMania’ has become as much a tradition as the ‘BBQ Feast’ on Saturday night – both brought to us from the local Legend of BBQ…  Smokin’ In Style  - These folks put on a feed and a half for us…..and their Ice Tea is the bomb too!!

The concession trailer provided by Randi & Jimmy Gatlin & their helpers turn out awesome breakfast & lunch items with some specialities added and Randi usually has a dessert or two - just to keep us all sweet.  Believe me, you won’t be hungry when they feed you! Good food and a chance to renew old friendships and make new ones without leaving the park! 

Friday – may find some cruising to be done – depending on interest and weather.

Saturday morning immediately following the Driver’s Meeting and before the trail runs…  Everyone will gather for the annual Group Picture.   The raffle on Saturday night is always The Best!  The prizes are always awesome – the vendors who support OCBR attend when they can so be on the watch for a familiar name or face!  The 2023 Sponsor page will soon be under construction with sponsors added as confirmation and donations arrive so check back often.  If you contact any of the sponsors throughout the year, please mention the Oklahoma Classic Bronco Round-Up and that we truly appreciate them and their support!
